I took this picture of the holocaust memorial 3 years ago, when I visited Thessaloniki for the first time and fell in love with the city which was once home to a big and proud Jewish community.

I have been to a lot of places all over the world, which are important for our Jewish heritage. No other place and no other country brought as much passion and desire to explore and support these Jewish communities into my heart.

Convinced that the energy and feelings we are bringing to this struggling Mediterranean beauty full of light, are contributing to a stable future especially for the still small current Jewish community, I am inviting you with a joyous heart to mark your calendars and pack your bags – Greece is waiting for us!
